  • Test cards for PQ and HLG

The Edius test cards cards for PQ and HLG are 10,000 nits on the waveform monitor which my HDR TV cannot display. (1500 nit TV)

Are there any 1000Nit cards available?

Note: with a twin HDMI output AV amplifier with an HDR TV on HDMI 1 and a non HDR TV on HDMI 2, auto switching to HDR takes place only when TV 1 is on, if TV 2 powers up as well as TV 2 the HDR disappears - a bit too clever this HDMI stuff!

You can purchase test Charts for some $ here:
A comprehensive set of reference 4K UltraHD test patterns that encompass all of today's latest HDR standards. HDR-10, HLG-HDR and Dolby Vision. Our products come in a variety of options from downloadable digital file sets, bundled packages, we even provide a fully authored UltraHD-HDR Blu-ray disc equipment with a complete navigable menu structure for ease of use.

But I do not understand your issue. If you set the Project Settings in Edius to HLG, the nit-scale in the waveform Monitor goes up to 1.000 nits only (for PQ you have it up to 10.000 nits). Fine. What you can do is to grade the luminance to 1.500 nits, using the waveform Monitor.

The only issue you will see is that the scale is very rough. Identify the 1.500 nits with the rough scale - not easy since it is a logarithmic scale too

I have downloaded the HLG cards and HDR10 pack bundle.

Edius is happy with the mp4's but cannot open the .TS files

HLG is all set at 1000 NITS.

TV Calibrates well on the RGB Red Green Blue Tests
