Edius 10 pro?

Hi everyone we are in 2020 does anyone know when the version of edius 10 pro will be released?
I use version 8 and I'm sorry to switch to version 9 when maybe version 10 comes out soon.

Brilliant. Thanks Ron! Still on 8.5 here too (which is running great) but after trailing V9 on a thrown together "cheap" AMD box I'm pretty sold on upgrading ASAP!

Really hoping they add trackers to the layout tool - or at least a filter that can track a PSD layer onto video (the amount of times I'm being asked to patch stuff these days...)

Solo audio tracks

Really hoping they add trackers to the layout tool - or at least a filter that can track a PSD layer onto video (the amount of times I'm being asked to patch stuff these days...)

And I hope they add a keyboard shortcut to solo the currently selected audio track.

At the moment the only way I can see to solo is to open the Audio Mixer.

I had 8 audio tracks of sync, fx, music, spot fx etc. and I had to constantly solo them to see what fx was clashing with another one. I didn’t need the mixer - it was just a matter of identifying the culprit.

Maybe you missed it but the following is on the page:
except for the discounted EDU versions and the Home Edition.

So no you need Pro or workgroup to get the free EDIUS 10.

I see that this promotion has been extended until September 2020. Does that imply that Edius 10 is not due before then?

I have not upgraded from Edius 8 because there is nothing in Edius 9 that I need at the moment.

Without knowing when version 10 is due and some info about what it might contain, I can't see a reason for me to go for the offer at the moment.
