  • E8WG Export plugin disappeared

    Hi all,

Just few hours ago I exported a project.
This morning I was trying to export it again but.... H.264/AVC plugin is missing.

Clicking on recently used preset it says "could not use the selected format - please confirm setting."

    What's happened? Any suggestion?

    Thank you in advance

It tells you that you cannot export with your current project settings to that format. You can enable conversion and choose settings which are supported

      I don't get it.
It's a project I'm working on since one month.
Yesterday I just exported an mp4 file and I closed it.
This morning I've just opened it edited some clip and I pressed print to file.
      What I should check?

      Thanks

Found: I changed project audio settings from 48kHz to 44.1 kHz.
Why H.264 is not valid anymore with 44.100 Hz audio sampling? Is it not supported?

        Thanks

As Steve has said you have changed your project setting albeit just the audio.
Last settings are "locked" and cannot be changed, which personally I think is not great....he says politely! Had you tried a new setting and ticked the change box it would have worked.

you can use 44.1k but I have no idea why you would want to when the audio standard for video is 48k

the reason you could not export is that you used a recently used exporter instead of a new H264 exporter

a recently used one expects all the same settings that were used when it was last used
