  • EDIUS 9.50: a problem with curves in the Primary Color Correction module

Hello! Installed for the test EDIUS 9.50.5351. A problem was identified when working with curves in the Primary Color Correction module, the Windows 10 operating system. I checked it on 3 different computers, everywhere the problem is present.
The next time you open the Primary Color Correction, the curve gets confused and the image darkens, you constantly have to reset it to default and set it up again. This problem manifests itself mainly when you already throw a set of effects onto the next editable clip and open Primary Color Correction to correct the image of this clip. Here is a video of what it looks like

I'm not seeing this at all.

Could you post a step by step of exactly what you are doing.
This would include the previous filters as well.

Unless we can reproduce it by following steps so we can see it we cannot send it to our QA department. So far I have not been able to reproduce this.

I'm seeing this issue . It only started with 9.50 (currently using 9.50.5351).

A couple of times, the curve changed completely when I re-opened the Primary Color Correction effect on a clip, exactly as Orward's video shows.

But rather than the entire curve changing completely, what I am seeing all the time is that one of the adjustment "nodes" or "points" disappears when I reopen the effect. It's always the same node.

See attached "before" and "after" images.

                          TIP:

If you are experiencing this, the moment you open the effect and find that it is a bit messed up, before doing anything to manually adjust it, try pressing Ctrl-Z (undo). So far, this seems to restore the effect for me.

                          Thanks
                          Martin

This problem makes itself felt if you are working in the new version 9.50 with the Primary Color Correction presets that were created in previous versions of Edius.
If you use the settings from scratch Primary Color Correction, then there may not be a problem.
