  • Edius 9.5 - color picker in fullscreen monitor preview does not work

    A bit disappointing,
the color picker in fullscreen monitor preview still does not work, the vectorscope doesn't show color values when moving the mouse over the fullscreen preview window.

Please fix it soon, it's very important!

When changing the matte color, I can use the color picker to change the color when the second monitor is full screen. You are correct about the Vectorscope not being live.

Interesting! It seems to be not a big deal to fix it soon when the color picking is not totally broken.

          Hi Jerry,
it's just to check values for blacks and whites in some specific areas using the vectorscope!
I'm using it on a regular base.

Ok, I just looked at the Vectorscope and there isn't even a read out on the left side of the panel. So, it is definitely not live.

                Yes, that's correct!
The vectorscope shows values for the small preview windows in GUI only.

Can you confirm that it works fine in the Player monitor just not on whatever computer screen you make it Full Screen?

Yes, the mouse arrow over the small Player- and Recorder-preview (mostly above of the timeline) causes values in vectorscope.

I just want to add that in version 8 it's not needed to set the recorder or player to focus, just to see values of the desired side in vectorscope! You can even move the mouse arrow over all the areas to see the reflecting values.

In version 9 you have to focus on player or recorder preview to see its values in vectorscope!

If by having the player or recorder in focus you mean the blue line around the panel, I can't confirm that.
I can select any of the panels and the read works. Even if all you select is the Vectorscope, it reads out.

Yep the monitor needs to be active.
Pressing the tab key is a solution.
