  • Converting to the HQ codec

I know I can setup a watch folder in PC 3 to convert Native to HQ but if I only had Edius can I do it too?

Not sure about PC3, but should be the same as PC2...

In Edius, load your m2t files, then CTRL+A (To select all in the bin) then right click on any selected clip and then Convert to > File. Pick Canopus HQ Online. Pick your folder, and start hitting enter as it will ask you to name the outgoing clips...just hit enter until the "Open" dialog box is gone and it will start converting it for you in the queue. You can leave your PC until it's done.

Edius 4 comes with Procoder Express, which supports a single watch folder. You can use the AVI preset and customize it to use the Canopus HQ codec.
