Recommendations for installation of Edius 9.40.5106

Hello, especially to experts

I am actually in EDIUS_Setup-9.40.4896. WG user

I saw the sticky of the last version (5106) and download it.

I have read that this last one is a "full installer".

The question : Is the installation as simple as cliking on the "exe" file and let the process go to the end ?

I suppose (thank you to confirm) that the installer will "see" the previous version and hold all the previous parameters operational.

Any other recommendation is welcome
