You can change the frame rate of the clip in the bin so that it plays at a different rate if that's what you mean. Assuming that when you say 60fps you really mean 59.94, if you set it at 29.97 it will be slow motion. If you set the rate at 59.94 it should be normal speed. If you do mean 60fps, it isn't even frame math to get to 29.97, so you will either have some frame blending or you will have to let the video be off speed and therefore syncing may be an issue.

Any audio associated with this clip will not be usable as an alternate source, as it's speed will change with the video, but you could strip it off to a separate wav file before doing the speed change.

All of this is just general information. Without seeing the actual clip I am only speculating based on what you have written.

Yes, if you engage a slow-mo mode, usually no audio is recorded, but if you just set the framerate to a higher one that isn't considered a slow-mo mode, audio is recorded. For example, a normal 59.94 clip pith audio when played at 29.97 framerate without re-timing will be 50% slow-mo but the associated audio will also slow down. Hence my comment about audio. Without any details, I was just throwing the information out there.

I did a test on my BMPCC 4K (PAL standard). I recorded a very short footage with audio at 50 frames per second.

I opened that file in 2 different project settings - one at 50 frames/sec and the other at 25 frames/sec.

I would expect the project that says 25 frames/sec be seen in slow-mo.

BUT - no - EDIUS plays both projects from the same MOV file - in the same way - very normal - and the audio in both cases are also perfect.

I must be missing something somewhere?

The OP's info and details are pretty sparse. There is no detail of the file or the project settings, so once again, the information provided is very generic. Without detail and/or a sample clip, it is hard to be more specific.

thanks for your test my question is when you press HFR button and record the clips are slow motion audio is short those clips plays perfect in edius as slow motion what i want is to play them is regular speed no slow motion

I tried pressing the HFR button and record at 50 frames / sec. The shutter shows 50/50 on the camera. I played back the clip on EDIUS at both 25 frames and 50 frames project setting - I don't see any difference in EDIUS playback.

You need to tell us what is your camera setting and your EDIUS project setting - at the very least.
