I haven't really done much of anything with Flash myself, but On2 Flix was pointed out some time ago as having a pretty cheap product for encoding Flash files that were approximately equal to wmv. Again, I don't know what the current state of all available options is, but Flix is still being sold. Check out FlixStandard--$39 and see if that might meet your needs.

    Flash Encoding with Edius

I've still got Edius 3 - stoopid I know. I have to create a whole load of flash clips for my website - can I do that with a plugin for Edius? Or should I export the clip and encode it with a 3rd party app?

Should I go with Sorenson sqz or Adobe's encoder or some such higher end tool?

Or is there freeware which does a good job?

    Cheers,

    Chris
