  • Preview window resolution keeps changing

Hi, I just brought a new (primary) monitor for my computer. It's 2560x1440. My 2nd, preview, monitor is 1920x1080.

Using 2nd monitor as full preview, the preview starts out looking OK, but as soon as I click within the Edius program, the preview jumps (zooms-in) so that I only see part of the screen.

This seems to be due to changing the text scaling in Windows (to 125% -- on the primary monitor, not the secondary). It seems as though Edius gets confused by this.

Any suggestions for a fix (other than resetting text scaling to 100%)?

    Thanks.

it is a known issue with Windows scaling

I would keep scaling at 100% as this also breaks your quicktitles if you use anything other than 100%

I am using 2560x1600 on primary mon at 100% and can read everything just fine

ideally, don't use the secondary mon as full preview and use a dedicated output card connected to a TV
