  • Slow playback on 4k files

    Hi,
I have i7 6700 cpu with gtx 1080 gpu 32G ram and all drive are SSD's tested for 500Mbs.

I'm trying to play 3840x2160 25p file on timeline with same settings as the file and HQX standard as renderer and playback is choppy.

i've converted the file o HQX with same results.

    cpu is at 100% use.
    Is it normal?

Depending on your system it can happen. If it does, use the preview drop down to either use 8 bit full or 1/2 resolution.

can I see a screenshot of project settings with all settings visible

make sure all settings in layouter are 100% or 0%

make sure optical flow is not set as default as this is a realtime killer
