if it works in 9.31 and stutters in 9.40, I would call that a downgrade rather than upgrade

can you show a screenshot of project settings with all settings visible

also, in Help menu, generate a system report and attach here

I work on 1080i videos. If i get 4k material i make proxies so Edius can handle them. After editing i relink the 4k source and make color corrections if needed.

And again: showing the filters during multicam mode does not pull down the performance of the pc because i don't use much filters. The latest update could have a bug becouse of the stuttering during multicam playback. Ir i turn off the show filters during multicam mode, the stuttering is still there.

I use 9 video tracks in multicam mode, and everything is the same as the 9.31 version (the same project file with the same project I am working on).

Please fix the playback issues or help me change the right preferences to avoid these stutterings.

Where can I download the 9.31 version to downgrade?

    Thanks a lot!
Totally confirmed this issue. Work in multicam now impossible. I usually work with 12-16 cameras. Now downgrade to 9.31. 9.31 works great.
I have also try reinstall. No effect.

there should be a huge performance differenec by unticking this option while in multicam, as soon as you exit multicam, all filters kick in and do their job

you must have a very powerful PC to handle 12 cameras UHD in multicam with filters enabled, mine can't do that

I use 9 pro. I changed nothing on the settings after update. It is possibble that the update changed something but I don't think. I tried to switch off the filters while in multicam mode, it doesn't helped.

I always use the show filters, the pc can handle it at 12 cameras too. Usually I use just stabilizator and sharpness effects, and rarely the primary color corrector (not on all tracks at sthe same time).

Finally with EDIUS v9.40b4803 the quick sync also works with the intel hd graphics set as secondary, with Intel
    DCH drivers
Download new and previously released drivers including support software, bios, utilities, firmware and patches for Intel products.

strange that it is not indicated in the update details
after 6 months (last software that was still not working between Premiere, Vegas, Hanbrake, etc.) better late than never

Pat did a show and tell at NAB of the basic frame work of the audio sync feature. It was also made very clear here on the forum that it was not ready for prime time and would be in a later update.

Different question. How does Multicam Switching - Audio and Video work? My sound remains the same. Whichever option I choose.

Ok. Forget about it. I need to choose wich Cam in the Audio track :)

They were still working on it and when they announced this update they said that Audio sync would not be in the packet. But they mentioned about it possible coming in next one or two updates after this one. But I am not sure that they were promising anything.

This was very clear before, that syncing does not come before next update.
