On Screen Display isn't!

UMMM....
OK, so not sure what the hell is going on but I cannot see my on screen display. No level meters, no time code... it's NOT coming up on ANY of the monitors, both within Edius and external. Yes, all the boxes in "on screen display" are ticked. Yes, I have rebooted.
Again, all the weird stuff since the last Windows update, but usually that does not interfere with actual Edius stuff (had issue with exporting, but updated QT and now ok).

ANYONE have any experience with this or advice? I popped up my audio mixer to keep stuff level for now but I like seeing it on the screen....

When playing a clip try pressing CTLR+ G

This toggles the osd

That worked!
and then it disappeared again, and then it worked, and then it left - all without me touching anything.....
and then it popped on and it's still on screen now....
LOL

I'm telling you - My computer is haunted :)

Can you try another keyboard for a while to test.
