All of a sudden Edius keeps crashing.

    Yes, that plays fine. Smooth as butter.

      can you uninstall Quicktime and then tell me what happens if you add some of your mov files to a new project

        No, that doesn't work. Takes a little longer after clicking on the file, but it still crashes Edius.
        Edius 8.53. Windows 10 Pro 64bit. Core i7 6700K CPU. 32Gb ram. Nividia GeForce GTX1060 graphics card. MoBo: ASUS Z170 A.

            I finally caved, & re-installed Windows. Just in the process of installing everything now.
            Thank you very much for all the time you have put into this. I really appreciate it!!

              it is sometimes beneficial to do a clean installation of everything, I hope it will all work now

                Same thing for me with mp4 and mov it crash...
