  • not disk too slow but rather little file fragments

My disk too slow woe is over for the moment, but now I get bunches of little file fragments after file captures.

This last capture was a doozy -- with hundreds of them. It was easy enough to sort by duration (GV. thanks for that, btw) and delete from disk, but I am wondering which of the capture checkboxes would be most likely to be causing this. These fragments were happening within the same shot, same take on the tape. No broken timecode.

This may be a result of bad timecode on the tape. This could happen if you recorded in one device and try to playback from another.

To bypass the "Divide Files" feature, go to Settings --> Application Settings --> Deck Settings, and de-select "At Timecode Break" under Automatically Divide Files..
