  • Can't properly import a H265 clip into Edius 9

I'm trying to import H265 clips from a Fuji X-T3 into Edius 9.3. The clip shows up in the bin with a blank thumbnail and it seems as if the video component is not there. I thought that v9.3 is compatible with H265? I should add these are 10bit clips and QuickTime import is installed and checked.

Is there some setting that needs to be adjusted?

This is a special version of H265 in mov.
At this time you will need to convert it.

I will check with QA qhat the best route is.
Is it possible to share a short clip ?

Steve, sure. I'm expecting my camera tomorrow, but downloaded this clip in anticipation of setting up Edius. You'll need to download the 'original' clip from Vimeo:
