  • Upgrade from Edius Pro 3.61 to 4.51

Might be a dumb question but is the upgrade worth it? I've haven't had any problems with Pro 3 plus I like to still use Imaginate 2.

Does Pro 4 support Imaginate 2?

I'm a firm believer in that if a product does what you need it to do, and it works, and doesn't cause you any problems - why change it? But with that said, there is now a very large list of changes from 3.61 to 4.54, which you can preview here:

And yes, Imaginate 2.0 is supported.

Through the many years I've been associated with computers and computer software, I've come to believe that skipping major upgrades to a product you rely on is usually a mistake. Eventually you will want to upgrade and if you've let the product get too far ahead of you, it will be more painful than necessary. Just a general observation.

I upgraded from the 3.xx to 4.54 just recently. I hadn't checked the Edius sight for about a year and had to do some catching up, but it was really worth it.
