contact them to send you the full serial if you bought a full version

It actually was the upgrade version since I've done an upgrade with each new iteration of Edius. AFAIK, the upgrade version, from the earlier version, would be the same end result as a new customer buying the full version.

If the serial number is "Not For Resale" it could not have been bought and it cannot be used for an upgrade.

If you where given an NFR serial number by mistake at the time of purchase you should contact the re-seller immediately.
