  • Lost audio in all of my Edius Express projects

I was working on a project that had a lot of sound static on it. This was most noticeable when listening to my project's dialogue track via my earphones. I was turning off my audio tracks one by one, in an effort to isolate the track that contained the static when suddenly, I lost the audio completely. Now, none of my Edius projects have any audio. I have checked the most common settings on the timeline and can find nothing wrong. I do have sound coming from Windows and from my Cool Edit Pro program, suggesting that my hardward is ok. Can anyone help with this.

    Thanks.

do you use hardware such as NX or OHCI only?

    has your project setting changed?

Do you have a proper audio editor (such as Sound Forge)? If you have - try loading the tracks into the audio editor and check it out first ... if there is nothing wrong with your video clips - then the problem could be EDIUS related then.
