EDIUS 9.21 update installation failed

I've uninstalled everything according to your instructions. Cleaned registers, shut down windows defender, internet functional, problem still the same.

Clean Installation:
To perform a CLEAN Install, please follow the below steps. This should resolve your problem.

1) Uninstall Edius (do not reboot)
2) Uninstall GV License Manager (You should be able to delete the GV manager if the software is not installed)
3) Reboot
4) Download Edius full installer (JUST DOWNLOAD NOT INSTALL - if applicable)
5) remove C:\PROGRAMDATA\FLEXNET (This is a hidden directory)
6) remove C:\PROGRAMDATA\GRASS VALLEY\EDIUS (This is a hidden directory)
7) remove C:\USERS\<USERNAME>\APPDATA\ROAMING\GRASS VALLEY\ (This is a hidden Directory)
8) remove C:\PROGRAM FILES\GRASS VALLEY\EDIUS \
9) Install EDIUS

Please remember to have your anti-virus and firewall disabled at the time of installation and activation.
Also, you must have full administrator rights to properly install and a stable internet connection to activate.
If you have Windows Defender - it must be disabled.
If you have Microsoft Security Essentials - it must be UNINSTALLED.

also, download the 9.21 installer again in case of a corrupt download

Yesterday, I uninstalled everything around Edius, according to GrassValley. I can no longer install Edius 9.20, also 9.21. I need to restore the system from the EaseUS Todo Backup backup.
Absolutely, I did not experience anything like that.
I use Edius from 4 to 9.

Did you try uninstalling all GV related from the PC before doing a clean install?

Can you contact your reseller for support with the installation? I think that they will be able to help you.

I did that first. They were afraid that the problem would be in Win10.

Yo need to ask Windows to help to resolve the installer issue and then we can help installing Edius.

Problem removed!

It was enough to remove two Microsoft Visual C items from 2017, and EDIUS 9.21 was successful. I thank everyone for their comments.

I got exactly the same issue and gave up updating... If Grass Valley does not do anything about it it will be time to look to another package !
