  • Transition transfer issue

Is there a way to transfer a transition from one folder to another folder ? I have tried to copy / cut and paste , etc but it does not work.

Is there another way in which this can be done ?

Apply it, find it in the information tab, right click and save as a current user preset. You can place it in any folder that you like (be sure you have the effects unlocked).

Thanks very much . . . sounds pretty good. Now how would I assign a shortcut key to that said transition?

      Thanks again.

You can set it as your default transition.

If you go in the user settings -> keyboard shortcuts type transition in the filter box you will see the available possibilities.

You can also unlock the effects panel, then create a custom folder called "Most Used" and drag the most used transitions and filters to that folder, then lock the panel again

            see example attached
