Using Boris FX latest version and Edius latest version I cannot figure out how to get audio into Boris FX. I can import in there but cannot here it. Does audio work with Edius? Thanks!

I never needed to add audio inside Boris since the audio is already on the timeline

however, I imagine you would need to switch to PC audio to hear it, you won't hear it as part of NX or SP or Storm output

I'm trying to bring the timeline audio in for syncing up titles...

I'm monitoring the sound card's output and not the Storm's. Thanks!

        ok, I tested

if you add an audio track in Boris, you can only hear it if you select the audio track and press space bar or click the little play icon on the audio track header

however, the timeline pointer does not move while playing audio, so it is in a way useless

however, you can expand the audio track and view the waveform, this may help in placing markers

none of the above is ideal

Try Setting Boris to "Preview" <> "Preview with Audio" from the Menu bar or Alt+shift+0 and then select from the preview menu "Preview to RAM" and it should work

OOPS sorry guys that only plays the audio with the video and will not allow you to use the audio to cue.
Antons suggestion is the best so far use the waveform track plot

Unfortunately, using Anton's idea of viewing the waveform does seem to be the best right now...seems like it should be easier than that.

              Thanks everyone!

Boris/Edius integration is rated 1 out of 10 by Anton

but if you know what to do with the 1, it does come in handy
