Can I change the way Edius names my video files while capturing? Instead of Cap000x? also where to put it?

As Anton said, but to control the destination, it will always be in a subfolder of the project's folder, as specified when you created the project initially.

aha, you must be using a different version where that feature is broken? in 4.54 I can select file name and folder location different to project folder by using browse button on capture window

please tell me that this is not broken in 4.6

You caught me out there Anton, I haven't captured footage from a tape in a fair while... :)

Chalk it up as another undocumented feature addition that crept in..
