    to have mapped audio tracks "Centered" by default, rather than panned left or right?

    It sure would help.

    Yeah, you need to change the sequence's pan settings to "Edius3Pro Compatible". Right click on the sequence tab, go to it's settings, and it's there.

      I have all my new project presets already setup for edius3 compatible, saves a lot of time later
