Has anyone compared these to for .flv file creation. If so which do you prefer and why.
    Thanks

Do a search for Flixpro on this forum. Then download the Flixpro demo and try it. It's the best. More settings, alpha encoding and alot more.

Thanks JohnnyD I will try the program. Do you have any settings you use for web video. I saw from the search Anton uses 400kbs, any other encoding tips

There are alot of presets in FlixPro that you can also tweak. I usually make a Edius HQ file and encode at different sizes and rates depending if just a talking-head or action. Just make sure you have de-interlaced checked on. Antons Flix video looks good. Have fun and try different settings.

Digital Juice have a special on Sorenson 4.5 which puts out very good Flash files. It's only $225 or so, although you have to buy a Digital Juice product also to get the special price. I think the cheapest Digital Juice product is about $15.

But FLixpro is probably a better product for purely Flash work.

That's with Flix Pro flipping HQ (on topic) .avi files upside down?
The quality is nice, but I haven't found a cure yet...
            The search continues.
