CS3 Video Out Plugin

Can anyone at GV give us poor, suffering After Effects users an idea when the new video output plugin will appear, allowing us to have Edius and After Effects CS3 open at the same time. The inclusion of AAF export in Edius is great - but only works in CS3, which is not correctly supported by the output plugin, making the whole idea of an improved workflow redundant - I mean who wants to keep opening and closing applications all day long?

And, at the risk of repeating myself, is there any news on the VST bridge in 4.6? will it ever be fixed?

Better (up to date) VO plugin support is very important to me as well. It does seem to fall on deaf ears though. Let's hope that it is being addressed.

With the existing plugin (which does work when you transfer it over from an earlier version) it may not be officially released because of the very problem you are taking about, I don't know. Another problem for me (and I dont know if this is a limitation that can't be solved or not) is that when running After Effects in 32 bit (floating point mode) there is no output at all.

But i havent heard of any date for video out plugin from a supplier friend of mine who is a beta tester for adobe here in the uk
Hope you dont mind me asking Paul but I still have a bit of trouble when exporting to AAF
It comes up with a unknown windows folder ...as if no programme is associated with it
What am I doing wrong?

I'm just running some AAF tests with both After Effects and also Vegas 8 which I would like to use for audio finishing, but I'm deep into 2 projects at the moment, so it'll be a week or so until I'm able to get back into it.
