Edius always opens on Keyers

This is not a big deal but a little fustrating so I'm asking to see if maybe there is a solution.

I have lots of folders in the effect bin. Some are always scrolled open and some are closed (I set it up this way). When I open a project, EDIUS should remember the open\closed state of the folders (it does) AND the last one I used should be the selected one. (it used to be like this)

The problem is, since I installed version 8.50.2034, whenever I open a project, instead of the last effect bin window I used being selected, EDIUS ALWAYS selects the default "Keyers" windows, which is all the way on the bottom and I always have to scroll this all the way up.

Any ideas?

the effects panel needs a fair bit of work before it is as user friendly with quick switching menu at top like EDIUS 7.53 and earlier

meanwhile, try 8.51 and see if it solves the issue

if not, you can try a new profile for testing, if that solves it, you will need to recreate all your custom buttons and keyboard shortcuts and settings etc.

but you can export your keyboard shortcuts and import them to the new profile
