Disappearing Color Matte

Still running 361 and had a weird problem pop up.after doing a reboot when I went back to the project I was working on, clips were showing up as unavailable and even color mattes were coming up missing. projects after this have been fine, but the missing color mattes have me scratching my head.
anyone else have this happen
