Can anyone confirm that AAF files produced by Edius 4.54 open in After Effect 7. Won't work here, but appears to work in AECS3???

    thanks

Just thought I'd bump this up as I really would appreciate someone exporting an AAF file from Edius and testing to see if it imports into After Effects 7.

    Thanks

      Hey Paul,

i cant really tell that it works perfectly, i just did more tests in nuendo recently..but judging from that , id say it should work fine with AE...!

No opportunity to test as i am not at home next time..sorry..!

Very odd, can't get AE7 to recognise the files at all, but CS3 seems OK.

I can confirm this - .aaf file exports (any settings) do not work with AE7 pro from edius 4.52, but AE CS3 works fine.
When I go out, I wear my EDIUS T-Shirt.

              Sorry to hear that Paul,

i always assumed it would work fine with AE 7.0 as people seemed to say that....but i never tried it, as i am mostly interested in using P2-footage and AAF in AE, which wont happen before the next update...
