Howdy,
I spend an awful lot of time re syncing visual material of musicians playing and or singing to final CD audio, after shooting recording sessions and or rehearsals
and live performances.
This produces a number of difficulties, from a studio recording session, the final audio master will be made of a combination of takes, as well as slight changes to the overall pace, ie. rests will be lengthened, or shortened etc.
Very often jazz and classical performers can play incredibly close to their final recordings, but inevitably there are differences, and these, when shot HD at close quarters ( say a piano keyboard ) are seriously obvious.
Using After Effects and Premiere Pro Time Remapping is the best way to sort these errors out, but it's all a bit long winded.
Is there a possibility that the Edius Time Remap utility will be upgraded to allow keyframed speed changes, say in version 4.6 or version 5.0 or whatever comes as the next paid for big upgrade?
Thanks in advance for any specific information, I realise that developments are kept "hush hush" but a nod would be enough to know that something is happening and I don't have to keep swapping applications all day!
