  • Audio Mixer question

I set up the audio mixer with individual track levels and everything is fine but if I close Edius and come back to it later the audio levels are all haywire.

Opening the audio mixer I see all the levels sliders at zero, no wonder my audio mix has gone crazy.

However, on closer inspection I realise all that is wrong is the selectors at the bottom of this window have reverted from "track" to "none". If I reset them to "track" I see my settings are still there.

Is it me or is Edius 4.54 meant work this way? I just tried saving, closing and opening again and it's repeatable.

There is a bug in the audio mixer at the moment.
It is a very annoying one.

The problem is that previously the mixer gave track level when set to none.
    Now this is broken.
It will also give problems when using external control for the audio mixer.
The best thing you can do at the moment is use the ctr + g display. (easy way)

Or swicth all the mixer slider to track just to look at the levels every time you open the mixer. ( it makes mixing a real pain)

The mixer is a bit of a problem now.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will use rubber banding and audio filters instead.
