  • Re-install of Edius has lost Xplode for Storm and other applets..

    Hi,

I just had to do a total uninstall re-install of Edius and Canopus plug-ins in order to try and get the Premier Pro plugin to work on my new system - after all the tinkering the plug-in is still broken on my never Core2Duo and 7600GS card system..

But I seem to have lost Xplode for Storm and all the Storm capture and config applets...I re-installed all the stuff off my Storm2Pro CD, but those items were missing. Where can I find the installers for Xplode for Storm as well as the other applets that let me capture from VHS, S-video to .avi via my storm card? As losing the Xplode has wrecked rendering performance in Edius and I need the storm RT config applets to capture from alternate sources.

    Thanks

you may not have installed the storm dv drivers which are found in a separate folder on the Edius CD

It's not letting me install the DVStorm driver since I upgraded it to version 05/12/06...I can't seem to remove that 05/12/06 driver to put the older ones on with those [email protected]#[email protected]

Are you talking about applications like StormVideo, StormEdit, StormAudio etc?

If yes I don't think that your problem has to do with drivers

the applications you are looking for are not in the Edius 4 cd but you in your old DVStorm cds...(two cds)

Yep they're the ones, unfortunately I only have one CD, but my machine is now getting checked by my friendly neighbourhood Canopus/Green Valley support tech :)
