Canopus SoftDVSD & Canopus HQ encoder

when i want to export my composition from boris RED, i found "Canopus SoftDVSD" & "Canopus HQ encoder" in my .avi exporter list, i found it after install Edius 4.54.
What is different with "Canopus DV" and "Canopus HQ" ?

What is different with "Canopus DV" and "Canopus HQ" ?

Canopus DV is Standard Definition in the format for the older Canopus DV Edit cards.
Canopus HQ is for Hi Definition and supports Alpha channel so you can have "Transparent" background on the video. I also believe it supports SD but the files are larger and quality better.
