Im wanting to get another dell to edit edius on. I know edius doesnt support vista and dells inspirons only come with vista. but the Vostros come with xp. never heard of this model. anyone know if its a good one to go with?

They are small and portable and therefore not very powerfull. Certainly they have onboard video (yuk) and they do not have an express card slot which is a must imo for external video drives.
But one good thing is there's an option for solid state hard drive- costs though.AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, RTX 3080, 64GB RAM, EDIUS X WG.Comment

Vostros are supposed to be "cheaper business laptops".
There was a 30% off coupon for HP.com, but it expired...Wish you guys asked for a laptop a few days ago.Comment

Jim, I think if you call and talk to them they will substitute XP if it comes to selling one or not selling one. I know I did this but it has been a while ago.Comment
