    error 0x8007064c in case of Edius 8.3 update/installation

    Hello!
    The Windows system 10 Pro, prior version of Edius 8.22.623 worked perfectly! Today decided to update to new version 8.30_1233. In up-dating attempt, the installer refused to update the current version, didn't delete generally everything yet, Edius is regarding. After that the installer earned, but installation is interrupted with an error 0x8007064c. Deleted everything, cleaned the register, but result any. I put the log file and a screenshot.
    How to correct a situation?

      Do you have an anti-virus and/or Windows defender running in the background? Did you ever have Microsoft Security Essentials installed?

          On the latest Windows 10 release (Anniversary Update aka Redstone 1) you cannot disable Windows Defender unless another supported AV solution is installed and functioning, at which point Defender disables itself. That is part of Microsoft's User Protection Always On (UPAO) strategy -- no more unprotected computing.

              That's strange. I have it off in 1607 which is Redstone 1 and I don't have any anti-virus software running on this system either.
              Windows Defender is off in Win 10 1607.png

                      The problem is solved! She was covered in the Microsoft Visual C module ++ 2010.
                      Has removed this package then Edius was established.
