I think I found a bug in EDIUS 8.53: It is the first time that I used "import sequence" to import a sequence from another project. I used it because the current project would not fill a BD25, so I decided to make one BD from two projects...
When adding the sequences to the "DVD Burner", I noticed that one sequence that I was editing heavily the last few days was very short, too short (It was displayed like 17s when it was more like 14 minutes)
The other sequences imported from the project seemed OK (it's a mess to check that, BTW).
When I looked what that particular sequence has what the others don't, I discovered that I had set In/Out markers. I cannot prove it, but it seems as if EDIUS just imported the part between In/Out markers (I cannot prove it, because I deleted those in the mean time).
What I did to recover the problem:
1) Remove the markers in the original sequence: Did not help (there were no In/Out markers in the imported sequence)
2) Import the same sequences again under a different name (after having fixed the In/out markers): Did not help
3) Restart without the imported sequence, and import the sequences again: Now the sequence in question looks OK!
Questions: Is there a way to update imported sequences (without loosing the work done else where)?
Is there an easy way to check that all imported sequences have the same length as in the original project?
Are imported sequences copies of the original sequences, or are they "references"? In case of the latter, can I update the imported view of such a reference?
