  • Edius 8.22 not loading

    Hi all
I started Edius earlier with no problem and tried to load a clip into the bin but it said couldn't load because of the file type. Here is infomedia on the clip. It is from a security camera.
I closed Edius to check on what to do and now I tried to open Edius again and Edius will not load. I was wondering did the clip mess something up? Also was wondering what flavor to convert the video to make edius happy and what program that is good to convert with?
    Thanks
    Bruce

      Hi Anton
Quicktime is checked but it still will not load the file. Is it the type of mpeg4 that it is having problems with? If I need to convert the file what program to use?
      Thanks

If EDIUS WILL NOT LOAD, try going to C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Roaming\Grass Valley\EDIUS\8.00
        and delete the MstrPsDB.tpd file

what program do you have that actually plays the file?

does WMP play it? QT player? VLC Player?

do you have the Swiss Army Knife of any video editor? TMW5 or TMW6, it will convert anything that moves
