We have down loaded several files from our P-2 card using the source browser using add and transfer. Now clips are showing up as sequence clips? What are sequence clips?

P2 has a file size limit of 4GB with Fat32
so if you shot something that was longer than 4GB, it will become a spanned clip because EDIUS correctly joins all clips that belong to the recording between camera start and stop

They are called spanned clips. The 4G that Anton mentioned is a Fat 32 limitation. It generally equates to about 8:30 in HD footage. If you put that clip in the timeline and double click it, a new sequence will open with the separate clips broken out.1: Intel 13900K, Asus ROG Z790 Hero, G.
