    Edius 7.5 and AVCHD files

I have recently a very annoying problem,I use the same settings as al my other projects ,no hardware changes and no new software !
When I place an audio clip on the timeline and change the video clip above it,the audio file will always play from the beginning,no matter witch position the slider is !The video file plays correct its position.
There is 1 audio file and a few video files on the timeline, and all files are on a intern HDD.

Is the audio file a VBR .mp3? Edius never liked them much.

    Convert to .wav.
    How does it work now?

      Hi Rusty
It is indeed a vbr.mp3,I never had any problem with that ?
I have found a simple solution by rendering that file,so now it stays stable.
Its not the best solution but it works,I will try Your'e methode this weekend and report something back.
      Thanks for Your'e input.

Over the years, I have never got my head around the mysteries of mp3 stability- a dozen will be fine and just when complacency kicks in another will cause problems. Wav conversion is always safest.

That was the tric, now it plays smooth and no returning to the begin !
I first tried to convert it from MP3 to Wav but that didn't go,then I ripped it again from the Cd and strait to Wav and bingo !
Probably to many conversions doesn't make it better
It's very strange,I've don it for several years and never had these issues before,
Its now a another way to follow, but the result counts.
            Thank You all for helping.
