Looking for edius 8.2 license validity information

I want to buy Edius 8.2 download Ver from online Distributor / Reseller from USA.
Is that license is valid only for USA or I can use it out side USA.

If it's a legal version you can use it world wide until the moon and back :)

8 pro needs every 30~60 days internet connectivity to phone home for license check.
8WG only need to check once when installing.

Keep that in mind if you travel frequently to remote area's without out internet !

Thanks for quick reply yes I know but I want confrmation from Grass Valley Sales team coz in India distributor says that u dont buy from him it is considered as pirated.
So I want confirmation from Grass Valley team that u cannot buy online ver & use.

Every reseller in their region would like you to buy from them, maybe in your region they use scare tactics :)

While I advise anyone to support local sales and support, I would also buy from overseas if price difference is too high or service is bad.

Of course, incase of license trouble or any problems in general don't expect the local reseller to support you, that should be a given....

Maybe that's what they mean by pirate version (to them)
