  • Clip size limit < 4Go ?

I can't import a clip more than 5 Go long.
It's for a long stereo wav file (> 4 hrs).
Is there a limit on a clip size ?

Not sure what you try to do. What is "5 Go"? Does "Go" mean GB for Gigabyte?
Please describe what Clip formats you try to import, it's not clear at the moment.

Btw, WAV-format is limited in file size of max 2 or 4 GB (depends on signed or non-signed state).
I'm not sure if Edius can export 4 hours stereo WAV files since Edius can't export splitted channels (asked for since years).

      Yes, it's 5 GB.
The wav file was created by an audio log.
I found a workaround by creating 2 files in audio log (Reaper) : zero-2h and 2h-4h , but it's not very easy ....

The clip is an WAV-file? Than it's limited by file specification.

The file format is WAVE64 instead of WAVE only.
WAVE64 is designed to bypass the 4GB limit.
Probably, Edius doesn't accept this format.

Edius can import and export WAVE64 (W64) files easily.
It's often the other way around. W64 ist often unknown
            in other tools.
DAW Software.shouldn't have an issue to read it.
