Thanks Cory, that was it. I put in the reel info and all appears!!! OF course DVCapture doesn't ask for reel info just a file name and location.

Last time I had a problem with recaptures, it was because the clip info didn't have Reel Names. I had to manually edit the properties for each clip to add a reel name. Then it worked. Edius doesn't prompt for reel names when initially capturing but it needs them later.Leave a comment:

re-capture in 4.5
I just opened a project I created in 3.5 to rework expecting the recapture box to be available for me to recapture the clips. Of all the choices only 'find the files" is highlighted. Am I missing something in 4.5? Initial captures were done using the DVCapture utility. Time code and tape info is present.
