  • ALT-1 stopped working

For the first time in years, the ALT-1, ALT-2 etc... stopped working! (EDIUS 8.2) Nothing is hooked to my keyboard and yes, I have been editing for years so I know about all the obvious issues like synced tracks and extend clip settings... I even opened a new project, imported a clip and tried but didn't work. Yes, the ALT keyboard shourtcuts are set in the settings.

The only think I haven't tried is restarting the computer (which I'll do now) but has anyone had this issue before?

Restarting solved this although it's NOT a wireless keyboard. Strange. Thanks.

a means a single clip? I thought two adjacent clips are necessary to use ALT-1 etc.?
