  • Where's the 1920x1080 50i

I just updated into V4.54 and will start a ner project.
    So I select:New Project NHX-E1 HD 50Hz.
When I open the capture settings: Generic HDV input
    I only see Canopus HQ 1920x1080 59.94i
    There's no Canopus HQ 1920x1080 50i anymore
Can somebody tell me where it's gone for the European users or do they all choose 1440x1080 50i
    Please let me know

Check in your capture utility under "frames" is it set to 50 or 60 or all?

BUT, now I look more closely you appear to be right, 60i but no 50i at 1920x1080 ?? both in HDV and OHCI capture.

I've just set up a 1920x1080 50i project and imported an EX1 1920x1080 50i 35 Mb file and it is correctly recognised as 25 frame, and plays correctly.

    explanation someone?

HDV Pal is 1440x1080 50i (the same as HDCAM)

I also can't see a 1920x1080 50i but I don't know what I would use it for at this stage

however, since 1920x1080 exists for NTSC users, it surely must (should) exist for Pal users

The new EX1 produces 1920x1080 50i but of course you don't "capture" this, just import the files mmmm strange!

Not a drop had passed my lips! I checked both my Storm system and my NX - maybe it's collective hallucination brought on by lack of partying!

                      No Miracles here

It's nice that so of you have the Canopus HQ 1920x1080 50i
But here in The Netherlands it still doesn't show up.
What do I have to do or what can I do.
Even if I started a new project it's not in the capture list
(It is in the project list. That's right)
Do you guys have the setting in the capture list??

I don't think it needs to be in the capture list unless you have Edius HD

at this stage Edius HD is the only Edius that can capture 1920x1080 50i via HD SDI

I think this may change with Edius 4.6?
