  • Cursor does not follow

what application setting controls the cursor behavior while editing?

basically, if I delete a gap or cut/collapse, I want the cursor to follow, currently I have to manually make it follow

That annoys the **** out of me! I don't think you can change it either :( Same with an "undo" curso does not go back to where it was undone from...

      Yep... one of those things.
I press "S" to get back to the edit.
Be thankful undo does not include things like timeline zooms and cursor moves! Monster truck programs like Autocad do it and it's the biggest pita in the known universe!

Is this an informal Feature Request or a formal complaint?
oh Anton... good to see 4.54 has your blessing now!

I was wondering if anyone discovered an application setting to fix this problem, I know of the setting that should work but it does not work at all

yes, other than that and export between in/out, Edius 4.54 is mostly fine for me and I use it 10 hours a day

I do recall that playing with combinations of the various options on "Playback" settings had an effect on cursor placement...
