Dongle problem

I searched 'dongle installation' and found some similar problems but not this one.

I had Edius 4.5 installed on my laptop--working fine--I did not transfer the license from the dongle to the pc.

I tried to install 4.5 on my home computer but when I start it up, windows doesn't know how to install the dongle and edius says to insert it or else it will expire in 30 days (now 27).

What did I do wrong and what do I need to do to fix it?

If you run 'ediuslm.exe' (found on the install CD, or within the downloaded package), do you also get an error about a missing dongle?

You may need to download the dongle driver (rarely needed, but sometimes helps): http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/enduser.aspx
