Storm 3G - SDI Out

Could it be that the damage to the card has also made the SDI output fail?

Thanks for comment ref possibility of further damage to the Storm 3G card

The thought had initially crossed my mind but I 99% dismissed it as

a) The connector had obvious damage due to it being pulled by other PC cables just resting on the HDMI lead from the card

b) The two converter units I tried gave totally different results

c) The converters were only around £25 which did flag warning bells, but thought it worth a try at that price - maybe if I had continued buying them I may have found one that worked but ......
