  • New Fonts in QuickTitler EDIUS 7.51

    Hello all,

I am trying to get EDIUS to recognize the fonts in my system fonts folder.

It is not seeing any of them.

    They are all .ttf files.

Also, now it is not reading the fonts that come with QuickTitler. They are all in the program file folder for EDIUS, but when I click them within QuickTitler, it won't use them.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Jacob

Jacob did you move the fonts originally? All you should have to do is to install the font on the computer (click on the font and actually hit the work install). Then I would reboot the computer.
They should be in the Windows Font folder on your C: drive, not your project folder.

If you installed while Edius was open, Quick Titler couldn't see the new ones until after, at least, an Edius restart. As Pat said, do a reboot.

All the fonts have been installed and the computer has been restarted a few times.

Our laptops have actually never been able to read the system fonts, but now we can't use the EDIUS fonts either.

In the QuickTitler system folder, all the style and text .dat files are there. EDIUS is not allowing us to use any of them.

OK, we got the EDIUS installed fonts to work.

However, we still cannot get EDIUS to recognize our system fonts.

            Alright, I feel kinda stupid...

I was thinking the particular font I needed would show up in the bottom of the QuickTitler.

I didn't see the font drop down on the right after you start typing...

            Situation resolved.

Yes, don't confuse Styles with fonts. However, if it s something you use a lot, you can use the new font and set ut up like you want. Then you can save that as a new Style and it will appear on the bottom.
