  • Weird Slowing Issue

Since I started using 4.5X I have noticed a strange slowing problem. When I get well into a wedding (or sometimes before) the timeline slows down and hangs usally when I try to lengthen a clip in the timeline. Like if I need to drag a clip out or shorten it the timeline kinda slows up like the autosave is saving. I sometimes get nervous and think its about to crash so I save it but it picks back up a few seconds later. Anyone else have this??

Yes we have seen this. For us it happens when the virus checker starts a automatic scan.

        Weird sluggish problem

The weird thing is I tunred off the auto save and it still happens. I currently dont have any Virus software running. and it only seems to happen when im trimming a clip in the timeline. Well good to know im not the only one.

Not sure whether it might be hard-disk related?

            or maybe overlay-related...

what flavor video card and which overlay setting are you using?
