Edius & Premiere on same machine

Just asking if anyone has had any issues installing PremiereCC on their Edius machines? I'm asked to do a job that they'd prefer edited in Prem, so I've (reluctantly) offered to rent if for a couple of months to do it providing there will be no detriment to my Edius system.

I've not had an issue with CC 2014 or 2015 using Edius 7.5 or Edius 8.1.

I have Premier CS5 & Edius 6.08 on the same system without any problems! I don`t use Premier CS5, it`s simply there as I wanted Adobe Encore on my system!

I have CS6 Production Suite on the same PC as Edius 7.5 as well as Vegas 12. All seem to work OK though I do not use Premiere just Photoshop and AE mainly from the suite.

I use Premiere CS5.5 on EdiusPro_7.5 and Edius WG_8.10 without problems.

Yes, I have CS5.5 and Edius6.08 working on the same machine. It's specifically CC15 and Edius8.1wg that I'm interested in.

This thread is not for a discussion of Premiere likes or dislikes. The OP wanted to know if it caused any problems on the same machine as EDIUS. I think that has been answered,

No problems here with both on the same computer.

I have Premiere CC2015 and EDIUS 8 on all my systems with no problems. The only possible problem is if you try and run them at the same time and have Blackmagic hardware. As both programs will use the hardware this may cause a problem although all I do is disable the hardware in one of the programs and I can run both at once. I do this when trying to transfer a project from one program to the other.

Feel free to give us a ring on Monday if you have problems setting Premiere up.

I have an Intensity Shuttle and an HD Spark installed with Edius 8.1 and Premiere CS 2015. I get output from both programs to separate monitors.

Thank you both, just what I needed to hear. I might well take you up on your offer David although we're still in negotiations on the workflow, so don't yet know if & when I'll be installing Prem.
